Cupid's Gourmet Cupcakes is the result of Niki Brinton's love
for home baking combined with a little bit of a "mom-preneur"
spirit. As the mother of two preschoolers, Cupid's was intended to
provide some contact with the grown-up world during a two-year
sabbatical from teaching high school math. Who knew it would grow
into what it is today?
They say that everything happens for a reason. Perhaps the
littlest Brinton being diagnosed with a peanut allergy was a sign
that the business should go nut-free. So as of that diagnosis day,
Cupid's said goodbye to peanut butter and pistachios, and hello to
Anaphylaxis Canada for advice on food safety with respect to nut
allergies.
Today, Cupid's employs some wonderful help, and is always
accepting resumes from people interested in joining the team. At
the current rate of growth, people will need to be continually
added to the staff. Follow us on Twitter to stay up-to-date on
Cupid's business moves.
